Waimarino Kayak Tours Terms and Conditions (Updated 4/12/2024)

Bookings

1. There is a two-person minimum for all Evening Kayak tours to operate.
2. There is a four-person minimum for all Daytime Kayak tours to operate.
3. There is a six-person (4 Adults and 2 Children) minimum for all Big Kanu tours to operate, except when otherwise stipulated.
4. Payment in full at the time of booking is required; this is to ensure availability on the tour and because tours require preparation in advance.
5. A booking will only be confirmed once full payment is received.

Cancellations (Individuals and Groups Under 10 People)

1. Waimarino reserves the right to cancel the tour on the day, due to weather or any safety concerns. If this is done, the tour will be postponed or a full refund (less transaction fees) will be provided.
2. For Peak season bookings between 26^th December and the end of February if a cancellation is made more than 48-hours prior to the scheduled departure, with consultation of Waimarino management, a full refund (less transaction fees) will be made. A postponement to another date with 48 hours’ notice will not incur any charges to the buyer.
3. For off peak dates (1^st March-24^th December) If a cancellation is made more than 24-hours prior to the scheduled departure, with consultation of Waimarino management, a full refund (less transaction fees) will be made. A postponement to another date with 24 hours’ notice will not incur any charges to the buyer.
4. Under no other circumstances will we offer a refund.
5. If the buyer fails to arrive for departure of the tour without notifying Waimarino before the stated departure time, the full balance of the tour payment will be withheld.
6. Payment for the tour constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Cancellations (Groups Over 10 People)

1. Waimarino reserves the right to cancel the tour on the day, due to weather or any safety concerns. If this is done, the tour will be postponed or a full refund will be provided.
2. If a cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the scheduled departure, with consultation of Waimarino management, a full refund (less transaction fees) will be made. A postponement to another day will not incur any charges to the buyer.
3. If a cancellation is made no less than 7 days prior to the scheduled departure, with consultation of Waimarino management, a full refund (less transaction fees) minus a NZ$150 admin fee will be made. A postponement to another day will not incur any charges to the buyer.
4. Under no other circumstances will we offer a refund.
5. If the customer fails to arrive for departure of the tour without notifying Waimarino before the stated meeting time, the full balance of the tour payment will be withheld.
6. Payment for the tour constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Covid19 Health and Safety- Waimarino Kayak Tours

If you have Cold, Flu or COVID19 symptoms prior to visiting Waimarino, please stay home and call your doctor or Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice about getting tested. In the event that you cannot attend the tour due to being unwell or having Covid19 our standard cancellation policy does apply.
Payment of your ticket constitutes the acceptance of these health and safety procedures.

GIFT CARD Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the issuance, redemption, and use of vouchers ("Voucher") issued by Waimarino Group ("Waimarino Group," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing, redeeming, or using the Voucher, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Voucher is issued by Waimarino Group and can be used for the purchase of specified goods or services offered by Waimarino Group. Each Voucher has a unique code or identifier that must be presented at the time of redemption. Each Voucher may have unique terms and conditions specified at the time of issuance
2. Vouchers can be purchased online through our official website/s or in-person at participating Waimarino Group locations. To redeem the Voucher, present it along with the unique code or identifier at the time of payment. Vouchers may be redeemed for eligible products as specified on the Voucher.
3. Each Voucher may have a specified validity period, after which it expires. Expired Vouchers will not be honoured or extended. Under no circumstances will we provide a refund for an expired voucher.
4. Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other forms of credit. Vouchers cannot be resold or transferred to another individual or entity.
5. Treat the Voucher like cash. Lost or stolen Vouchers will not be replaced or refunded except where required by law.
6. Waimarino Group reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold for review any Voucher or transaction suspected of fraudulent activity or in violation of these Terms.
7. Waimarino Group reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Voucher program or these Terms at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
8. These Terms are governed by the Consumer Protection in which the Voucher was purchased.

By purchasing, redeeming, or using the Voucher, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. These Terms are subject to change without notice, and the most current version will be available on our website.
